A modern tribute to tatreez, the cross-stitch embroidery of Palestinian dresses: a single band of mirrored rijl al-jaja (chicken feet) with a small star above, in terracotta, sage and blue on cream (a modern pastel colourway).

This is our own composition, drawn stitch by stitch: every motif is built from x-stitches on a woven linen-look ground, with the small irregularities of hand embroidery, and a stitched border that runs to the edge of the case. Printed, not embroidered.
