A modern tribute to tatreez, the cross-stitch embroidery of Palestinian dresses: a single column of saru (cypress) trees between two stitched lines, in green and ochre on oatmeal (a green-and-ochre colourway).

This is our own composition, drawn stitch by stitch: every motif is built from x-stitches on a woven linen-look ground, with the small irregularities of hand embroidery, and a stitched border that runs to the edge of the case. Printed, not embroidered.
