A modern tribute to tatreez, the cross-stitch embroidery of Palestinian dresses: the square qabbeh with a star medallion and small star corners, feather yoke and cypress hem, in red, saffron and green on black (Bethlehem-inspired black ground).

This is our own composition, drawn stitch by stitch: every motif is built from x-stitches on a woven linen-look ground, with the small irregularities of hand embroidery, and a stitched border that runs to the edge of the case. Printed, not embroidered.
