A modern tribute to tatreez, the cross-stitch embroidery of Palestinian dresses: a thobe-front layout: the square qabbeh (chest panel) with a star medallion and feather corners, yoke bands above and a cypress hem, in madder red and black on cream (Ramallah-style red on cream).

This is our own composition, drawn stitch by stitch: every motif is built from x-stitches on a woven linen-look ground, with the small irregularities of hand embroidery, and a stitched border that runs to the edge of the case. Printed, not embroidered.
