A modern tribute to tatreez, the cross-stitch embroidery of Palestinian dresses: large eight-pointed qamar stars linked by small lozenges, in cream, red and saffron on deep indigo (indigo, the classic dye of village dress cloth).

This is our own composition, drawn stitch by stitch: every motif is built from x-stitches on a woven linen-look ground, with the small irregularities of hand embroidery, and a stitched border that runs to the edge of the case. Printed, not embroidered.
