A modern tribute to tatreez, the cross-stitch embroidery of Palestinian dresses: eight-pointed qamar stars in soft modern colours, in rose, sage and powder blue on cream (a modern pastel take on the classic star).

This is our own composition, drawn stitch by stitch: every motif is built from x-stitches on a woven linen-look ground, with the small irregularities of hand embroidery, and a stitched border that runs to the edge of the case. Printed, not embroidered.
