About this design
Be Like Musa (AS) by AdabStars: In a world of bullies, be like Musa (AS): the prophet-lesson design about courage.
Part of the AdabStars prophet series: one Qur'an story and lesson per design. Collect them all.
What's printed
Front: Reads "IN A WORLD OF BULLIES, BE LIKE MUSA" with a small (AS) after the name, a line drawing of the parted sea with a dry path through it, and the reference Qur'an 26:62 under it.
Back: the story from the Qur'an, with its reference:
When Pharaoh's army caught up with them and his people feared they would be overtaken, Prophet Musa (AS) said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." Allah commanded him to strike the sea with his staff, and it parted.
Qur'an 26:61-63
Quoted words are the Saheeh International translation; the rest summarises the cited verses. English meaning only: no Arabic text is printed.
The lesson
Real courage comes from trusting Allah. When you feel scared, or someone is picking on you, remember Musa at the edge of the sea: he was certain his Lord was with him, and the way opened.
Who it's for
For Muslim kids, siblings and cousins learning the story of Prophet Musa (Moses) at home, in weekend Islamic school or Quran class. Great for Ramadan, Eid and family gatherings.
